The Massey Ferguson MF 5713 SL is the first winner of the new Best Utility category in the prestigious Tractor of the Year Award. Judged by a jury of experts from 23 European countries, the Award was presented at a special ceremony at the Agritechnica Show, Hannover, Germany on Sunday 8th November.
“Massey Ferguson is delighted that the MF 5713 SL has been honoured with this very important award,” says Campbell Scott, Director, Marketing Services. “We are particularly proud to receive this top accolade because the tractor was first nominated and then judged as the winner by a jury made up of 23 experts from leading magazines across Europe.
The competition judges said they had no doubts about its decision, praising the compact dimensions of the All in One system that ensures the tractor’s AGCO Power 4.4 litre, four cylinder engine meets the Stage IV/Tier 4 final emission regulations. This further improves exhaust gas cleaning without compromising power, efficiency, maintenance, ground clearance or, visibility.
This advanced technology uses a special ‘swirl system’ to thoroughly mix the exhaust gases and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) such as AdBlue.
With ‘All in One’ technology the SCR system and Diesel Oxidation Catalyser (DOC) are contained together in a compact assembly that tucks away neatly under the right-hand side of the cab.
This enables the MF 5713 SL to have one of the slimmest steep nosed bonnets in its sector yielding excellent manoeuvrability and outstanding visibility.
