Ferguson Homestead event will take place at the usual Long Field Magheraconluce Road Hillsborough BT25 1EE ON THE 17th August 2013 .

The event this year will have in attendance for the first time ever a ladies team who compete all over Ireland in building a Ferguson tractor in record time, these ladies are named `HEATHER ANGELS CAVAN` This amazing team of female engineers are from the Co Cavan area and are continually competing against male teams to see if they can beat the clock. [please note times of building the tractor against the clock will be max 3 times with intervals].

Also on the day speed boat rides on the lake, dog agility displays, mini digger skill tests, Ferguson machinery implement working area, live music, new farm machinery display, new cars display, toy tractor rides and remote control tractor skills, catering to suit all and trade stands offering something to suit all ages.

A special certificate will be available to commemorate the 60 years to those who wish to treasure it.

Our chosen charity this year is of course with children and their needs, we the committee have chosen to support Buddy Bear Trust which supplies a school and education to those children who suffer from cerebral palsy and neuro motor disabilities and brain disorders.

We are proud to be involved with such a charity and hope with you the enthusiast and spectator we can keep the school open and give these children a focus on their difficult life.

We do indeed have a child as close as Dromore who attends this school and unfortunately our education authority support the school in a very small way.

Event runs from 9am until 5pm approx.

Visit the Memorial statue and history garden, have your photo taken beside Harry.

Possible Helicopter arrival [weather permitting].

Don't forget our tractor road run on the Friday night before the show leaving Ballykeel Baptist Church at 7.30pm sharp to return after a scenic drive past the memorial garden.
