A New Era for Straightforward and Dependable tractors from Massey Ferguson
We began the MF 8S project with a blank page. At the heart of it was the global ‘Voice of the Customer’ study; an in-depth, one-to-one interview with customers and operators in several countries across the globe.
Key feedback from you, the customer, underlined the need for comfort, ease of use, value for money, excellent reliability, intuitive and convenient controls, efficiency transmitting maximum power to the ground, 100% connectivity and the ability to work with the most demanding implements.
It was an exciting and inspirational project for all those involved and an opportunity to build on Massey Ferguson’s strong heritage of straightforward, dependable machines.
The result: a Massey Ferguson tractor for a new era. The MF 8S.

Efficient drive-lines bring higher productivity and efficiency
Dyna-7 combines effortless operation with complete efficiency to create an extraordinary operator’s experience. Dyna-7 uniquely provides a smooth 7-speed Dynashift change across 4-ranges allowing you to use the powershift gears over a wide speed range for optimal field performance. The Dynashift range changes are made under load, without the need to use the clutch pedal.
Low cost of operation
Maximum power and torque are achieved at low engine revs count reducing fuel consumption by 10%. Additionally, the low engine speed reduces engine noise levels and increases its lifespan. The 7.4L, 6-cylinders AGCO Power engine maximises the advantages of the most environmentally-friendly system to improve air quality, mitigate climate change and contribute to a quieter environment for the operator and the neighborhood during working hours.
The next generation of comfort, efficiency and connectivity
The MF 8S has the quietest cab on the market, with a noise level of only 68dB. With 360° visibility, the cab and front axle suspension improve driving comfort, while the new MF vDisplay Digital dashboard provides all needed information at a glance. The new armrest offers best in class control of all the tractor’s operations.
Ability to work faster with the most demanding implements
Up to five spool valves to the rear are available, and an optional front linkage with additional two front spool valves. The heavy-duty rear axle offers the ability to work faster with very wide implements with versatile rear tyres options with single and dual configurations.
MF Connect telemetry
MF Connect telemetry helps you manage fleet performance by remotely accessing machine data in real-time to monitor and analyse operating information from your MF 8S.

ENGINE POWER MANAGEMENT - 20 HP BOOST
These tractors have the considerable benefit of Engine Power Management (EPM), which allows up to a 20 hp power boost whenever extra power is needed.
MF 8S Engines
AGCO Power 6-cylinder / 7.4 litre engines deliver more power, torque, and performance at low rpm reducing fuel consumption and engine wear.
Dyna-7
Dyna-7 offers the efficient operation of 28 forward and reverse speeds in four ranges. This cost-effective seven-speed transmission delivers smooth and intuitive operation in the new automatic drive style.
Protect-U Design
The encapsulated engine enhances cooling efficiency since the main fan airflow is dedicated to cooling. It also insulates the cab from noise, heat and vibrations.
Power Control Lever
The unique Massey Ferguson Power Control lever provides straightforward three-in-one operation, leaving your right hand free to operate other tractor functions.
Multipad Control
All operations in the MF 8S are at your fingertips for greater comfort. The Multipad lever operates the transmission and controls working speed, the rear linkage, PTO, headland management and the spool valves through the integrated micro-joystick.
Front Axle Suspension
Great traction is delivered by a new and innovative front suspension. The operator benefits from the improved driving comfort during infield and transport applications.
SPEEDSTEER
Reduces operator effort and provides faster turns - minimising the time and effort spent in the cab. It enables you to adjust the steering ratio and select the number of turns of the steering wheel required for a given amount of steering angle turns.
TIGHT TURNING CIRCLE
The curved design of the chassis and bonnet ensures one of the best turning circles on the market: 5.7 m*. (*Track 1950mm with 600/70R30 front tyres)
MF vDisplay
The MF vDisplay digital dashboard shows all the tractor information at a glance. Easy to read and with intuitive operation, its clear display can be personalised and changed by simply scrolling through settings with a rotary knob by the steering wheel.
The Cab
With 360° visibility brought about by a 6,6 m² of a glass surface, it is one of the most spacious cabs on the market. Noise levels of just 68dB make it one of the quietest cabs.
Cab Features
The cab features an all-new Bluetooth radio, USB and mobile connections, telescopic side mirrors, electric de-icing, and automatic air conditioning.
Neo-Retro Design
The iconic grey sabre stripe on the side and horse-collar motif on the bonnet dates back to the MF 100 Series.
Control Centre Armrest
The new armrest places control of all tractor functions at your fingertips. ISOBUS implement functions can be assigned to the Multipad to further increase operating efficiency. The new micro-joystick controls the hydraulic functions for valve 1 and 2.
MF 8S Exclusive Package
The Exclusive specification is a comprehensive package providing operators with exceptional comfort and ease of use as well as genuine performance enhancing features to increase productivity and efficiency.
16 Led Lights
The 16 LED LIGHTS OPTION transforms night into day. These include automatic beacon activation, comfort light delay at end of the day with automatic work lights extinction.

Wheelbase
Massey Ferguson MF 8S Series tractors are built on a 3.05m wheelbase that provides stability and improves traction when working with wide, demanding implements.
PTO
All models come with a four-speed PTO as standard, providing a choice of 540, 540ECO, 1,000 or 1,000ECO, which means operators can always select the right speed for power or economy.
CCLS Hydraulic Systems
The 205 litre/min pump comes equipped as standard generating the specified flow as low as 1650 rpm. Up to five electronic rear spool valves can be specified. You also have an option of 110 l/min or 150 l/min.
Linkage Capacity
The three-point linkage capacity has been increased to 10,000kg with powerful new hydraulics to operate the most demanding implements.
Optional Front Linkage
A new 4,800kg capacity optional front linkage is fully integrated into the tractor chassis and comes with the option of an ISOBUS socket, 1 or 2 front spool valves and a PTO.
Datatronic 5
The Datatronic 5, touch-screen terminal, does not only manage the tractor functions, but it allows a complete control of all ISOBUS compatible implements. It also give access to the radio functions, permit to receive and make calls, and other functions.
Fieldstar 5
An optional Fieldstar 5 terminal can be used to manage all of the relevant MF Technologies. It now also records the field boundaries and provides automatic field detection.
Antenna Rail
A new antenna rail, positioned at the front of the cab, enables easy mounting of a choice of GPS receivers up to RTK precision. For security and risk avoidance, the antenna is locked in place with a key as standard.
MF Section Control
With the fully automatic Section Control for ISOBUS implements, operators can apply seed, fertilizer or Crop protection products without overlapping. This prevents double treatment and eliminates applications outside of field boundaries.
MF Task Doc
TaskDoc records data quickly and easily to create field records, make job reports and keep accurate records of inputs. This information can be transferred simply, wirelessly from the terminal in a format compatible with most farm management software.
MF Guide
Massey Ferguson’s complete guidance system for hands-free steering, available factory fit on new tractors or as an after-market installation. The system uses Trimble - RangePoint, Trimble - CenterPoint and RTK corrected signals to increase efficiency.
MF CONNECT
MF Connect service enables you — and your dealer — to coordinate, optimize and seamlessly connect your fleet, to better manage maintenance and remotely monitor equipment in the field.
