Massey Ferguson, a worldwide brand of AGCO (NYSE:AGCO) is proud to announce that, for the first time ever, it is bringing its full MF eXperience Tour to an international show, as well as exhibiting in Hall 7 at the forthcoming SIMA Show in Paris, from 6th to 10th November.
“In 2018, Massey Ferguson introduced an innovative approach to shows and events to bring our full range of equipment and services closer to farmers and contractors,” explains Jérôme Aubrion, Director Marketing Massey Ferguson, Europe & Middle East.
“Now, for the first time at SIMA and any international show, visitors will be able to experience this new strategy in action. As well as being able to see the latest machines, discuss with MF eXperts and use interactive displays on our stand inside, invited guests will also have the opportunity to have a hands-on driving experience the special outside demonstration area.”
At the same time, to celebrate its 175th Anniversary, Massey Ferguson is introducing a range of Limited Edition versions of its MF S Series tractors. Customised at the Beauvais factory, they come equipped with MF’s ‘Exclusive’ specification with a special livery of a bright red bonnet and fenders, with grey stripes putting the iconic ‘Little Grey Fergie’ at the heart of the distinctive design.
At the dedicated Anniversary area on the stand in Hall 7 (E047) there’s not only a ‘Little Grey Fergie’ on show, but also its modern equivalent – a Limited Edition version of the class-leading MF 5S.145 equipped with the latest MF E-loader.
Sustainable bonnet concept
On display here is also another example of Massey Ferguson’s innovation – an MF 8S sustainable bonnet concept. Made from flax and natural resin, and easily recycled its production process results in an 82% reduction in carbon emissions.
The flax is grown within 150km from the Beauvais factory, which not only reduces transport distances, but also creates a virtuous production circle: it creates a new business opportunity for farmers, who grow the crops from which a by-product is used to make their tractors.
MF Born to Farm area
The very latest MF 8S.305 Dyna-VT, makes its debut at the SIMA show on the stand’s MF Born to Farm area. Here, as part of the new show strategy, an MF IDEALdrive simulator offers an opportunity to find out what it’s like to operate a combine with just joysticks.
Visitors will also have an exclusive opportunity to take a virtual drive of two new tractors that are joining the Massey Ferguson fleet on Farming Simulator.
Those looking for a more conventional show experience can also sit, have a coffee and talk to MF eXperts about the latest tractors, machinery, finance and other services.
MF eXperience Tour comes to SIMA
A free shuttle bus service, running every ten minutes from Hall 7, links the indoor space to the MF eXperience Tour area located at Hall 5B Ext 008. Here, visitors will be able to view Massey Ferguson’s full line of equipment, and invited guests will have the opportunity to take a test drive in the exclusive demonstration area.
Visitors, who have come with their dealers and booked a demo slot, will be able to get behind the wheel of a range of machines – including representatives from the latest MF 8S, MF 6S ranges, as well as an MF 5711 M tractor and MF TH.8043 telehandler.
All visitors coming to the static MF eXperience Tour area will be able to have a close look at, and learn more about, the latest Massey Ferguson implements and equipment, particularly the new ranges of arable, hay and forage harvesting machines.
Taking centre stage is the MF IDEALdrive 8T combine harvester. This is accompanied by the latest MF 2234 XD large square baler along with the MF RB 4160 V Xtra baler, equipped with the Exclusive package.
Mounted onto an MF 7S.180 is the impressive pairing of the MF DM 8612 TL butterfly mower conditioner and front-mounted MF DM 316 FQ-RC. With the ability to handle this combination’s high output is the 10.2m wide, MF TD 1028 X TRC tedder, which despite its size, has a low power requirement – as illustrated by being paired with the efficient, 100hp, MF 4710 M tractor.
Also making its SIMA show debut is the recently introduced MF 1842S high capacity, in-line small square baler. Building on the reputation of the market leading MF 1840, this heavy duty model delivers the exceptional performance and outstanding outputs large farmers and professional users require.
Representing Massey Ferguson’s latest MF 3 Speciality Series, also on show for the first time at SIMA, is the MF 3SP.115. At 120hp it is the most powerful Specialised model and, with a slightly wider chassis and spacious cab, it’s designed for operation in open vineyards.
The MF 3SP is just one of a choice of six different MF 3 Speciality versions developed to specifically suit all specialist sectors, including traditional vineyards, orchards, low profile and there’s even an Alpine version for use challenging terrain.
For those looking for a compact, powerful and versatile tractor is the MF 1755 M, which is displayed equipped with a loader.
Lastly, Trelleborg is coming along Massey Ferguson for the SIMA MF eXperience as the ideal technical partner, committed to provide advice about the correct tire selection, pressure and settings that help improve traction, cut soil compaction and reduce fuel consumption.
This partnership will allow both companies to continue finding innovative ways to help customers grow their businesses more effectively.
