A new era in straightforward specialist tractors

The new MF 3 Speciality series is the perfect partner for specialist producers looking for a powerful and economical tractor, which efficiently performs a wide range of tasks while reducing running costs.

Developed to deliver higher performance, the tractors combine comfort and straightforward operation with a new, flagship expanding the range to 120hp, providing the power to perform the most demanding tasks. A new ‘Eco’ 30F/15R transmission, with PowerShuttle and Speedshift offers a wide choice of speeds to perfectly match all operations. With its top speed of 40km/h attained at lower engine speeds it runs quietly and helps saves fuel.

With the introduction of the MF 3 Speciality series, Massey Ferguson continues it eye-catching style, first seen on the advanced MF 8S series, with its iconic grey sabre stripe and cab.

For maximum versatility Massey Ferguson offers three versions with two specification levels, Essential and Effiecent, from 85 hp to 120 hp, with numerous options to personalise your MF tractor to suit your exact requirements.

Technology & Innovation

Equipped to a high standard, MF 3 Speciality Series tractors deliver exactly the right features for straightforward, comfortable operation and optimum performance with low running costs.

Economical power

Latest generation, 3.6-litre, four-cylinder engines power MF 3 Speciality tractors delivering powers from between 85hp to 120hp and up to 105hp on platform and AL models.

Clean power

Latest Stage V engines use well-proven, catalytic reduction (SCR) with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC). The compact exhaust is mounted under the bonnet, retaining excellent visibility and space for mid-mounted implements.

Less downtime

Standard fuel tank capacity is now 75 litres, with a larger 100-litre option to extend working time between refills.

High efficiency and performance

A new 30F/15R speed 40km/h Eco transmission provides five gears in three ranges. Gears are changed using an easily accessible lever, positioned on the console on the right-hand side.

Transmission choice

Transmission choice starts with a easy to use 15F/15R version with mechanical shuttle. The addition of a mechanical splitter doubles the ratios to 30F/30R, providing a wider speed choice to match the work and operations.

Optimum control and comfort

Easy to use Speedshift and PowerShuttle transmission controls provide effortless, electro-hydraulic operation. Standard Comfort Control enables operators to adjust the sensitivity and speed of the shuttle response to improves precision and comfort.

Two specification packages and a range of options enable owners to further tailor their MF 3 Speciality tractor to enhance comfort and convenience as well as suit their crops and operations.

Significant changes

MF’s commitment to constant improvement sees models from 85 hp receiving significant upgrades. At the same time there is now the choice of a comfortable and ergonomic operator platform for the MF 3FR, MF 3WF and MF 3GE models.

Essential versions

Entry level specification includes a mechanical transmission and 93 litre/min dual pump hydraulic system with mechanical linkage control. Output enhancing options include Electric Linkage control (ELC) and a PowerShuttle and Speedshift transmission.

Efficient versions

Extra comfort, control and performance from a 120 litre/min triple-pump hydraulic system, ELC, PowerShuttle and Speedshift transmission as well as a multi-function joystick and four electro-hydraulic spool valves.

Additional extras

A wide choice of options include Cat 4 cab filtration, joystick control for rear linkage offset and levelling as well as a front linkage and PTO and front loader package.

More spacious cab

A low, 3cm high tunnel on the floor provides more headroom and a higher seat position. This also increases visibility without impacting on the overall cab height.

Intuitive dashboard

New, modern dashboard has an easy to read colour display screen in the middle, a clear analogue RPM gauge with fuel and temperature gauges either side.

Information display

Colour display screen can be set to show a range of operating information including PTO speed, fuel consumption, coolant and oil temperatures, engine speed memories, linkage position, hydraulic valve settings and current gear settings.

Cat 4 cab

New Cat 4 filtration option improves safety for operators in the spacious, semi flat-floor cab – particularly helpful for spraying operations.

MF Family style

The MF 3 Series follows Massey Ferguson’s latest modern, family style featuring the iconic MF sabre design, grey cab and roof as well as logical new numbering.

High hydraulic performance

MF 3 series tractors are equipped with either a dual- or triple-pump hydraulic system, depending on specification. Both deliver ample flow and pressure to power a wide range of modern equipment.

Electronic Linkage Control (ELC)

ELC is standard on all Efficient versions. It is also now an option on Essential models, equipped with the same controls and set-up as standard, but without the electro-hydraulic spool valves.

New hydraulic packs and options

Choose between the dual- or triple-pump system as well as the number of mid-mounted connectors required.

Essential model spool valve options

A choice of two or three mechanical spool valves, with the option to provide up to five with two switches on the levers.

Efficient model spool valves options

Four electro-hydraulic spool valves are standard. An optional diverter valve enables the use of up to six spool valves, selected using switches on the multi-function joystick control.

Straightforward operation

Convenient and easy to use controls, as well as a unique multifunction joystick integrating the operation of two spool valves and the transmission.

Optimum versatility

Compatible with high capacity front linkage and PTO, front loader and new frame for mid mounted implements.

Outstanding manoeuvrability

Wide steering angle and curved chassis design provide tight turns.

Higher productivity

Higher engine power, new 30F/15R speed Eco transmission and brake-to neutral option increase output and efficiency.
